wow... i'm so dead. haiz. probably won't be blogging for awhile. i just don't have the mood all of a sudden. have u ever felt indignant? ahhh... apparently, i was 'disturbing' someone... nvm. my fault. not anyone else's fault... really.

man i suck... i got 11/19 for physics. maybe i'm not the science type. lol.

day 5 CT1

so near yet so far... knew it. my class got our math papers back. i got 19/40. yea. crappy result. charis, yuxian, jiayi and marissa cried. i really pity them. haiz... i really need to practise my math. after getting our math papers back, almost everybody was emo during art lesson. but we soon got over the setback. geog lesson was super fun. it was like a free period cuz mr lim gave us the choice whether we wanted to use the com to finish up our geog project or do other stuff. i played games instead. i helped daniyal create his blog. haha. today's training was tough. we had circuit PT. i can't believe i did 4 chin-ups without support. haha. last time when i did more than 2 chin-ups, i would get migraines. for all who don't know what migraine is, it is a kind of severe headache.

HMT today was manageable...

ok... geog was manageable. i think i'll pass. yup. er, 2morrow's higher malay so i have to memorize all the peribahasa. all sec 1 and 2 peribahasa. i hate memorizing but what can i do? i have no other choice but to memorize. ouh, today my class had the health screening check up. my backbone is in perfect condition! haha. lol. eyesight: definitely not perfect but my glasses are the best for me. lol. after that was math lesson. guess what. ms kang went through with us the answers for the math paper. but we couldn't finish. i'm gonna fail math. for sure.

erm, i watched a show on Suria last night. Zan Mysterio. It is one of idk how many episodes of Project Cerpen.
F.Y.I: Cerpen is cerita pendek. Direct translation: story short. haha. jk. it means short story. so... ya... it was cute, funny and interesting. i had a great time watching it. idk how the show would turn out if it was in English but i'm sure u would enjoy it if u had seen it and read the subs... erm,,, ya... that's all... lol

literature was not as tough as i thought it would be but i'm not confident that i'll pass lit. hmm... math is 2morrow. i'm SUPER scared about it! lol... no lah. haha. just hope it won't be tough.

day 1 of CT 1

ok... so i take back what i said about not wanting to use the com during the common tests period. i just can't live a day without the com. lol. haha. there were english and science papers today. english was manageable. science? omg. it was so tough lah. i mean i didn't expect the questions to be set that way. plus, i concentrated on physics to much and revised chem too little. i'm starting to feel like mr. bean here. haha. although i concentrated on physics more, i'm not confident that i'll a get good satisfying grade for science overall. haiz... things are just not going my way. what can i do? literature paper is 2morrow. i better pass that. i just want to get this week over with.

Pesta BUDAYA!

Pesta Budaya yesterday was great! I didn't expect it to so much fun lah. ok. so i was the first to come. i took 188 first then alighted at the bus-stop near BB polyclinic then i boarded 157. so after alighting, i walked to the gate at JJC and waited there. while waiting for my cikgu and other schoolmates, hillgrove students arrived. TO MY SURPRISE, i saw Syafiq Akmal, the emo kid... HAHA. lol. so ya... i didn't notice Nuurainy until we started the activities in JJC. so ya.. JJC is big, humongous, gigantic, huge, large and mammoth. lol. maybe i'll reserve JJC as one of my choices IF i graduate from secondary school. lol. so in JJC i saw Sharmila. erm, i didn't realize Hany Humaira went for the thing. She saw me but i didn't see her. haha. ouh, my school won 2nd prize for the most points accumulated during the games... and i'm keeping the trophy! haha. jk.

p.s: our hang tuah performance with Hillgrove in front of other schools was the most entertaining.
haha. good memories... lol

erm, what i said about eclipses only happening in daytime... it's wrong. i meant that it can only be seen in daytime. right? lol... idk

omg... i forgot about colour.
hmm, colour. there's spectrum, dispersion, white light, ROY G BIV which is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Black is not a colour. PRISM! when white light passes through a prism, the white light will emerge as ROY G BIV. er, nvm. i'll revise colour later... it's easy right? lol.

While revising for the physics common tests 2morrow on light, i went to look in the mirror and remembered that my eyes are brown... haha. i mean for so long i thought my eyes were black but it's actually brown. lol. ok. so since i've got nothing else to write about, i'll just recap on what i've just revised.
p.s: i was "revising". that means there were a few distractions here and there as i was revising in front of the com..

Light is a form of energy. The speed of light is faster than the speed of sound. A storm can prove this theory right because we see lightning before we hear the thunder clap.

Objects can be classified into to groups; non-luminous objects and luminous objects.
Luminous objects are objects that emit their own light. We can see luminous objects because the light from these objects are reflected directly into our eyes.

Non-luminous objects do not emit there own light. We can see these objects
because they reflect light from light sources and this reflected light is reflected into our eyes.
That is why we can the moon as it reflects light from the Sun.

Shadows are formed because light travels in a straight line and cannot bend around behind the object. As some of the light is being blocked, the area behind the object will be dark. This dark area is called a shadow.

A solar eclipse happens when the moon comes between the Sun and the Earth. A shadow of the moon will be cast on the Earth. The people in this shadow area will experience an umbra - total eclipse. Solar eclipses only happen in daytime. Since there is people who would experience total eclipse, there would be those who would experience partial eclipse which is also known as penumbra.

Reflection is the bouncing of light off a surface.
When an incident ray is reflected on a plane mirror at an angle, the reflected ray will reflect at an equal angle but on the opposite side of the normal.

The video did not mention a thing about the angle of incidence and reflection. Instead, they mentioned the angle of incoming light and the angle of outgoing light.

There are two types of reflection; regular and diffuse.
Regular reflection happens on plane mirrors. Diffuse reflection happens on a rough surface.
Paper may seem smooth to our fingers but if paper was seen on a microscope, the surface is actually rough. That is why an image cannot be formed on rough surfaces. Hence, we cannot see our own image formed on them.

Characteristics of an image formed on a plane mirror

The image is upright, virtual, as far behind the mirror as the object is in front of the mirror, laterally inverted and has the same size as the object.

There are two types of curved mirrors; Convex and concave.

Convex mirrors are curved outwards.
Objects are seen smaller in convex mirrors but they allow a large field of view.

Concave mirrors are curved inwards. That's all i know about them.

When light travels from a dense material to a denser material, the light will refract towards the normal.

When light travels from a dense material to a less dense material, the light will refract away from the normal.

CNY 2008

ooooooookaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay..... so there was a CNY consert in school. it was quite entertaining. so ya... after that i met Shaz at the bus-stop near her school. in the bus, we met Guan Ki and some of our juniors. then, we alighted at the bus-stop near DZ. we saw no one outside the gate that was a classmate and we weren't allowed to go in anyway so we went to McDonald's. but, when we got there, we didn't even go in. lol. so we decided to go to the prime supermarket to buy drinks since we couldn't go to shopnsave as Shaz's mom was working there. after buying the drinks, we went back to DZ. so, there, we met Firnaz, Qingshu, Daryl, Jinghui, Banguo, Afiqah and Jian Cheng. ouh ya, now, Jian Cheng goes by the name J.C. lol. erm, banguo... haha... he was like an ad for adidas. i mean he looked like a model. lol. so when atiqah and her sis arrived and when they finished their girly group hugs, we decided to eat at McDonald's. haha. so we dawdled there and bumped into ziqing and her junior. guess what. firnaz, kg, m karthik, jared and many more still bear grudges against her for being the top scorer for the 2006 cohort. lol! haha. Guan Ki went home before we reached McDonald's. so we ate and J.C and afiqah "argued" lol. ouh and atiqah mentioned demoralize... haha. so after KG came and finished eating, we went to the playground near block 370 or is it 370? nvm... it's the one with the swings... so we boys played soccer and the girls played the swings. i wanted to play the swing but it was too low but when i swung it over to the top to make it shorter, it was way to short. so i didn't play. so after that, we went into the void deck and we boys continued to play soccer bu the girls started their photo taking sessions... lol... so ya... we played soccer until the girls went home... so when the girls went, we wanted to played at the street soccer court but it was occupied, we decided to play at the nearby basketball court but..... ya... it was occupied...

we decided to go to the street soccer court at Goodview. on our way there, near the basketball court, KG started kicking the ball high towards the 4-storey flat. so i asked them to stop kicking the ball towards the building but at the last second i kicked the ball. UNFORTUNATELY, the ball didn't hit the building but landed in front of a man. but we J.C, firnaz and i ran and left KG to his own demise. lol! haha... then, he "sulked". he said we should stop playing. haha... but he stopped sulking and forgave us. he claimed he was a fun-loving person. haha... right... lol... so we walked an endless road to the street soccer court... lol... on the downside, the street soccer court was OCCUPIED! haha... lol... so we played at the open field just beside it... haha. after that, we went to 7 11. we met ruixin there. it seemed that she was doing school work with her friends there. haha... can u imagine? lol... so we waved goodbye to her. haha. i just found a shop which sells can drinks for 45 cents and bottle drinks for 80-90 cents! won't tell u where? haha... i'm an
old scrooge... lol so we went back to the void deck near the playground and played soccer... so after we had enough fun for the day, we went home. long huh? haha...
